Livability Holton Lee will be holding a Community Fair on September 19th 2015, 1pm – 5pm
Livability Holton Lee is a beautiful and tranquil site. 350 acres of heathland creates a special, remote-feeling spot even though it is just off the busy A351 and just a few minutes drive from the hubbub of Poole or Wareham. The focus at Livability Holton Lee is to provide activities that increase a sense of purpose and wellbeing, especially in those facing disadvantage or disability. Now part of the Livability family, we have a keen interest in facilitating the growth of a community where everyone is valued and can participate in whatever way they are able.
The Community Summer Fair is intended to be an event where a wide variety of local organisations and individuals will come together to demonstrate how we each contribute to creating a vibrant and supportive community. Some will be groups who specifically serve a need in our local area, others will be individuals who create beautiful and useful products out of locally sourced natural materials. We hope to have fun and creative activities; relaxing and enjoyable experiences; and thought-provoking and challenging opportunities.
If you are a local craftsperson or aer part of a group or organisation that is active locally, why not join in and show the community what you have to offer.
